NBA's Stephen Jackson of the Indiana Pacers escaped relatively unscathed after being punched in the mouth and hit by a car during a fight outside a strip club at 3:00 a.m. last weekend. Jackson fired five shots out of his pistol in self defense in the incident, not hitting anything of consequence. According to The Indianapolis Star Jackson said that he was "definitely blessed" to have escaped serious injury.

I was a little surprised to hear the word "blessed" associated with an escape from serious injury outside a strip club at 3 a.m.

Then I find myself in the company of people of faith and hear or read all kinds of filthy and foul words coming from them. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks??? or not. I don't get it.
